Numerology is an amazing tool for analyzing character, abilities, psychological interests and destinies...  Its most interesting and practical application is analyzing your Life Cycles, telling you just what to expect in the year ahead!

Remember, to calculate your Personal Year Number you simply add the number of your month of birth to the number of your day of birth, then add the number you get to the numbers of the year 2011.

For example, take a favorite personality of mine, TV interviewer Larry King, who was born on November 19th.

Adding these up, we get

   11

   19

2011

2041

Adding 2+0+4+1 gives 7, so 2011 is a '7' Personal Year for Larry.

This indicates (among other things) that it is a year to really take care of himself -- to look after his health, to learn more, and to foster his own inner growth.

2010 is NOT a time for Larry to be overly concentrated on material goals, but instead to improve the quality of life in other areas, and to "nurture his soul". It's difficult to imagine him on a spiritual quest, isn't it? -- but that is exactly what a 7 Personal Year calls for, Larry.

For myself, January 2011 is a "8" Personal Month in a "7" Personal Year, telling me (among many other things) that it's a good time to be financially conservative, to be confident and to stand up for myself when necessary, and to focus on my long-term goals.

(Note: what most people don't realize is the interactions between personal months and personal years, so an "8" Personal Month in a "7" Personal Year is NOT just like an "8" Personal Month in any other year).

Here, for instance, is what your Birth Day Number means: 

The digits of the day you were born are said to symbolize the tools and talents that you were born with in life. So...

1 - One. If you were born on the first day of the month, then you mustbe the center of attention so being a politician; public speaker, actor or performer best suits you. You are also a born leader.

2 - Two. If you were born on the second day of the month you relate to people more emotionally than cerebrally and would make a good psychologist, counselor or sales clerk.

3 - Three. If you were born on the third day of the month then you are tolerant of others and like the spotlight. You make a good teacher, theologian or performer.

Just as a refresher, calculating your Personal Year Number means adding the numbers for your birthday and reducing them to a single digit and then adding the number that totals the current year (2010 = 3) and reducing that to a single digit.

Do you have trouble finishing what you start? Maybe that has
something to do with the "special letters" in your name.

Then a numerologist refers to the "special letters" in your name
they are usually referring to the "Cornerstone and Capstone"
letters in your first name.

The Cornerstone letter is the very first letter of your name and
the Capstone is the very last letter.

The first letter of your name reveals how and what you generate
things in life. The last letter of your name reveals your capacity
to "walk your talk" and become accomplished in life. For example
in the name Anne the Cornerstone letter is A and the Capstone
letter is E.
