>>> Considering Emigrating? Here's 10 Reasons Why Canada Should Be Your First Choice
Thinking of moving to Canada in hope of a better standard of living? Have a look through these 10 reasons to prove that your decision to move is definitely the right one.
1. There are 265,000 visas available in 2010, according to Immigration and Citizenship Canada. Of these 265,000 over 100,000 are being issued to workers of some type, primarily skilled workers.
2. Canada ranks 228th out of 239 countries in the world in terms of population density. As one of the least crowded places on earth, Canada offers one square mile of land for 8.3 people (or one square kilometre for every 3.41 people).
3. It falls in the top 20 for both Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) and nominal Gross Domestic Products (GDP), as well for both per capita PPP GDP and per capita nominal GDP, making it one of the richest countries on earth.
4. The country has 34 recognised ethnic groups, according to the 2001 census, most of which come from Europe, including Filipino, Swedish and Ukrainian communities.
5. Looking at the 2010 World's Most Liveable Cities list that is compiled by The Economist, three of Canada's cities rank in the top 10. Vancouver comes in first, with Toronto and Calgary in fourth and fifth places respectively. Furthermore, Vancouver was only 2 points off a perfect 100 score.
6. It is generally considered that Canada has very little threat from terrorists, being on amicable terms with most countries. This was mentioned as one of the reasons why Canada's cities featured so high in The Economist's list.
7. If you applied for and were granted a permanent Canadian work visa, you would be entitled to the country's free medical health care. Modelled around the UK's NHS, it is known unofficially as Medicare and has been in operation since 1966.
8. If there are two things that can put people off emigrating from the UK, it is the gun laws and death penalty. Unlike America, Canada does not have a death penalty (it was removed in 1976) and also has gun licensing and handling laws that are a lot stricter. These rules are shown in the different murder rates in Canada to America, where the latter has almost three times as many murders (data provided by Statistics Canada for 2006 crime figures and the US Bureau of Justice Statistics for 2004 shows that Canada had 1.9 murders for every 100,000 people, whilst America had 5.5 for every 100,000).
9. One of the reasons why many Brits move to Canada is the fact that the country actually has a summer. Whilst Britain often sees a few hot days throughout what is supposedly the summer months, they are generally sandwiched between a few weeks of overcast and wet weather. Canada, on the other hand, has warm, dry summers, something which is needed after the often cold, snowy winters.
10. A point that brings a smile to many potential residents is the names of towns and cities. There aren't many places on the globe where you could live in a place with an intriguing name like Saskatoon, Ottaw-Gatineau or Kitchener-Waterloo.
>>> 9 Facts, Figures And Statistics On Canadian Immigration
Situated north of the American border is a country that has for many years been described as the perfect destination for many. Friendly people and a comparatively low cost of living yet high per capita GDP have been the reasons for obtaining a Canadian work visa and moving permanently for many, whilst the vast amount of open space that allows for you to be at one with nature, whilst only being a short drive from a bustling city, is another popular reason that others state for emigrating from the UK.
Immigration is something that the country is well known for and these 9 points provide some interesting information on Canadian immigration.
1. For any permanent immigrant in Canada, they have to have lived continuously in the country for 1,095 days before they can apply for Canadian citizenship. Generally speaking, there are no restrictions as to who can apply for citizenship, assuming that they have lived in the country for the required amount of time 2. In 2001, a census was carried out in Canada and showed that just over a quarter of a million (250,640) immigrants entered the country that year. Immigration figures have stayed roughly the same ever since.
3. The 2001 census also showed that there were almost 3 dozen different ethnic minority groups in the country. Whilst these groups may be considered to be minorities, each and every one of them had at least 100,000 members
4. When the last census was carried out in 2006, population had grown by 5.4% according to an article in the National Post newspaper on 13 March 2007. Whilst there is some obvious natural growth that needs to be taken into consideration, the majority of this percentage is said to be due to immigration
5. It was also discovered in 2006 that unsurprisingly, the top two ethnic groups in the country were English and French with 21% and 15.8% respectively. Surprisingly to those not living in the country, however, was the finding that Ukrainian was put down as an ethnic origin by 3.6% of the population, putting it as the 8th most popular ethnic origin in Canada
6. Considering Canada is such a diverse country in terms of ethnic origins, the 2001 census showed that religion was not as varied - 77.1% of the population stated Christianity as their religion, whilst 16.5% claimed that they were an atheist. This left 6.4% evenly divided between Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism and Sikhism
7. Canada is allowing for up to 265,000 people to begin calling the country home in 2010. Of this figure, over 100,000 visas are to be granted to skilled workers
8. A survey by Muchmor Magazine in 2007 explained that Brits moving to Canada believed that they country could offer them a range of different benefits that the UK could not, including increased health care quality, better education for their children and an overall more relaxed and friendly social atmosphere
9. The same report also explained why Brits leave the UK in the first place, with two of the main reasons being the UK's poor climate and the running of the country by the Labour government, who they believed were ruining the country.
>>> Two Quick Questions About Canadian Immigration
CanadaImmigration.com: It is not a hidden fact that Canada is a popular country to emigrate to. Rolling fields, crystal clear lakes and wonderful wildlife in some areas are accompanied perfectly by the hustle, bustle and cosmopolitan atmosphere that is found in the country's major cities.
Immigration to Canada has been apparent for several centuries and by looking at data provided by Statistics Canada, since the early part of the 19th century, there have been three major increases in immigration, the third of which the country is still seeing today.
A move to La Canada is not something that is carried out over night and there are copious amounts of questions that need to be answered. These following three are some of those that are often asked by those looking to move to the country and provide an insight into the immigration views of Canada.
1. How many visa have there been allocated for 2010?
Each year, the Canadian government states how many immigrants they are to allow into their country on any type of visa. For 2010, there are to be 265,000 visas made available, the vast majority of which (140,000) will be granted to those offering some type of working skills, such as on the Federal Skilled Worker visa or International Graduate visa. 2. Is it true that there are over 60 different types of Canadian visa?
A visa for Canada is an absolute must before you move to the country and without one you will not be able to legally step foot in Canada. Being the open-armed, diverse country that Canada is, there are over 60 individual Canadian visas available to choose from, depending upon your qualifications, age and reason for residency in the country.
Generally being able to be grouped into 3 different categories (Worker, Business and Family), each of them possesses several different visas underneath them, meaning that the vast majority of people should be able to qualify for at least one type of visa for Canada.
2. How diverse is Canadian immigration?
One of the aspects of moving to Canada that a lot of people worry about is whether they will, for all intents and purposes, fit in with others. Particularly if moving from parts of the world that do not speak English as a primary language or that have a lot of traditional and country-unique values, it can make the move a daunting process, wondering whether or not you will meet others similar to you.
Fortunately, Canadian immigrating is one of the most varied anywhere in the world, proved by the details of the 2001 census. According to the data provided, there were 34 individual ethnics groups in the country, every single one of them having at least 100,000 people coming under them. If this is not comforting for potential immigrants alone, over 15% of the population were classed as being in a minority group (i.e., a group that was not Canadian, American or English), with Sweden being the smallest group, accounting for 1.07% of the entire population.
>>> How To Choose The Most Appropriate Visa For Canada For You
There are over five dozen individual visa options to choose from when looking to move to Canada. With visas suitable for everyone from workers to investors and relatives of permanent residents to newly qualified students, it can be difficult to understand which one is the most suited to you.
So how exactly do you choose which visa for Canada is most appropriate?
The very first point that you need to consider is whether you are intending to work in the country and what work it is exactly you are planning on carrying out. You should, ideally, be able to provide information on not only the skills and vocational experience that you have, but which industries in Canada they are suited to.
The reason it is so important to understand exact points in relation to your potential work is that according to Citizenship and Immigration Canada, there are over 110,000 working visas available to be granted in 2010, spread out over x amount of individual visas. Now, whilst it would be great to be able to say you want to move for work, the system unfortunately doesn't work like this and specifics are required to ensure that the most suitable visa is applied for.
Once you have a full and in-depth understanding of your move to Canada, you need to look to see if there is anyone in the country who can sponsor you. Generally speaking, there are two different types of people who can sponsor a move to Canada - a close family relative (such as a parent, grandparent or sibling) or spouse who will agree to support you initially upon your move or a business who can prove that they need your skills and will provide you with an offer of employment prior to you moving.
A third point to consider is whether you have a sufficient skill set, as well as the necessary finances, to either setup a new business in Canada or develop and expand an existing business into the country. Canada is particularly keen on investors, helping to maintain the country's high and prosperous financial position in the world and therefore if you can prove that you have the necessary skills and finances to develop a business in the country, the government will look upon this favourably.
As there are over 60 different visas to choose from, deciding on the right one for you can be confusing. Answering and taking into consideration these three points, however, whilst not providing you with a definitive answer to which visa to choose from, will help guide you in the right direction of either a worker, family or business visa, information which can then be used to distinguish which of the several dozen visas is the perfect one for you. Furthermore, if you can provide positive and in-depth answers to all of the points, you stand a much better chance of finding a suitable visa for Canada. This is because you will fall into suitable categories for several different visas, meaning applications, if unsuccessful initially, do not need to be for the same visa time and time again.
>>> Moving To La Canada? Don't Forget To Apply For The Appropriate Visa
Statistics provided by Citizenship and Immigration Canada show that in 2008, there were over one quarter of a million (247,243) immigrants to the country who were planning on residing on a permanent basis.
Each and everyone one of those immigrants, regardless of their country of origin, age, sex, nationality or occupation will have to apply for - and have granted - an appropriate visa.
If you are thinking of moving to La Canada (which is something that is particular prominent in a lot of people's minds at the moment, especially as three of the country's cities ranked in the top 10 best cities to live in in the world in a recent study by The Economist), you will also need to apply for a visa for Canada if you want to move legally.
Canada offers in excess of 60 individual visas, meaning that there is an option to suit almost everyone. Although there are several dozen visa choices available, they can generally all be grouped under one of three larger umbrella terms, which are as follows.
1. Worker. The most common way of moving to Canada, working visas are to account for up to 140,000 immigrants in 2010, with a lot intended to be under the Federal Skilled Worker visa. To apply for this type of visa, the applicant must have a skill set that is in demand by the country, similar to Australia's Skilled Occupations List. Under the umbrella term of working visa is the intriguing sounding Canadian Experience visa. In essence, this visa allows for students or workers who have recently qualified in their profession to live and work in Canada on a permanent basis. This visa will generally be applied for by those who have studied in Canada on a temporary basis or who have worked in the country temporarily and have now developed the skills to be able to work effectively permanently.
2. Business. A mere 11,600 business visas have been allocated for 2010, meaning that competition is fierce. This is not helped further by the relative openness of the sub-categories under the business group, meaning that almost anyone who owns a business could effectively put an application forward for a business visa. For instance, the Entrepreneur and Self-Employed visas both offer people who either have their own business or want to have their own business the ability to setup in Canada, whilst the Provincial Nominee Invest visa provides the opportunity for a business owner to develop and expand their business in the country.
3. Family. Relatively self-explanatory, a visa for Canada residency on a permanent basis can be granted should you be intending to move to the country to live with close family.
Throughout the past years, around 65,000 family visas have been made available to potential migrants to the country. In 2008, of the 247,243 people who were granted some form of visa, 65,657 moved on a family visa. Two years later and in 2010, it is planned for no more than 63,000 family visas to be granted, out of an overall visa allocation figure of 265,000.
Within this family group, there are several options available, meaning that you do not necessarily have to move to be with a spouse or parent. For example, the Remaining Relative visa is available to help reunite people with no family in their living country with relatives who live in Canada.
There are various visa options available for Canada and whilst it can be a long process choosing and applying for the correct visa for you, it is absolutely imperative that you do so to ensure that your residency in Canada is completely legal and hassle free. There are many www.canadian sites. Ca canada websites proudly display their national pride. Which serves you best.

Make sure they are not packed in your luggage, keep them with you. This will help in speeding up the entry to Canada.
The applicant must present the following documents upon the arrival:
* Valid passport and/or travel documents. The passport must be a regular, private passport. Nobody can immigrate to Canada with a diplomatic, government service or public affairs passport.
* Valid permanent resident visa, and the Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR). The officer will make sure that the applicant is entering Canada before or on the expiry date shown on the permanent resident visa. Please note that this document cannot be extended. Make sure it is being used before expiring.
* Proof that applicant has sufficient funds to support himself/herself and his/her family after the arrival in Canada. You can find more information under Proof of funds in the Related Links section at the bottom of this page.
The officer will ask few questions in order to meet the requirements to immigrate to Canada. The questions will be similar to the ones answered in Application for Permanent Residence in Canada. The officer will confirm that few requirements are still needed for admission to Canada. This should only take a few minutes.
These requirements are compulsory and if these are not been fulfilled then the applicant and his/her dependants will not be allowed to enter Canada.
If there are no problems at the point of entry, the officer will authorize the applicant to enter Canada as a permanent resident. The officer will also confirm the Canadian mailing address. The permanent resident card will be mailed at this address.
Disclosure of funds
The applicant must disclose the information to the CBSA officer if he/she carries more than $10,000 at the arrival in Canada. If he/she does not disclose this information, could be fined or put in prison.
These funds could be in the form of:
* cash
* securities in bearer form (for example, stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills) or
* Negotiable instruments in bearer form, such as bankers' drafts, cheques, travelers' cheques or money orders.

This is why, having created a profile that 'knocks their socks off' is so important because ultimately your goal is from them to send an interest on getting to know you.
Technology has made a huge impact on the dating scene and with the introduction of online dating personal websites the traditional dating scene will continue to evolve. Many years ago when online dating websites were launched, the majority if not all the online dating websites were based on pay to use. These early dating sites made use profits because the singles market was thirsty for an alternative to the existing bars and lounges. As people became more aware of the online dating alternative, this industry experienced an explosion of growth from users wanting more and more sophisticated ways to connect with other people.
Now with technology becoming more accessible with minimal investment, the online dating industry is experiencing another shift. This shift is moving from pay per use to 100% free online dating websites. We are now seeing another explosion on the internet with free dating sites experiencing phenomenal growth. The conventional method of meeting someone is changing, with new relationships between people being formed by millions every day.
>>>Successful Relationships Happen Through Creating Great Online Dating Profiles
Free online dating services or personal online sites offer the latest technology in communication. Just how does one go about creating a profile on these sites? Creating a dating profile that is meaningful is one of the most important things that you can do to ensure you get quality responses to your profile. It's important to be honest in your profile and write a profile that accurately represents you in order not to disappoint the person you are communicating with. Simple accurate details about yourself such as age, height, hair colour, your hobbies, interest, a description of yourself and expectations of your partner are important information. These basic descriptions enable other viewer to gauge their interest and the potential match based on their own personal characteristics and the type of relationship they are looking for.
Another important dimension on creating a personal dating profile is to add a picture of yourself and if you can add additional pictures of you having fun with images demonstrating your personality. When they say a picture is a thousand words does have some significant meaning behind this. Don't be using pictures of your high school graduation either. These pictures are boring and most like stale, use pictures that are current and demonstrate your personality as I have mentioned earlier. Free online dating sites are a great way to profile yourself and begin meeting thousands of people across the country. Remember to always use caution when using the interest as with many good things that come with it, there are also individuals who are not so honest. If you are able to use caution and be discreet about your personal information, you are bound to have a positive experience. No matter if you are using a personal dating site or communication on other types of sites, there are positive and negative experiences. The only thing that you can control is to ensure that caution is used when communicating with people.
Dating sites in Canada and USA are a great way to meet people and sites do their best to create a safe member to post their profiles. While most sites do their best, it is not full proof and therefore, when creating a profile be mindful on not to mention your personal details, phone number or email. Millions of people in Canada and the USA are using personal dating sites to meet people to find romance, friends, network, have a date, find love or even marriage. Some of the top dating sites are paid but the best dating sites are free. Most people are not aware of free dating sites and all of the features that are provided. In fact, because paid dating sites have higher advertising budgets they are able to invest larger sums of resources into mass advertising. Free sites on the other had have a much smaller revenue if any and therefore are most likely not promoting their services through mass media advertising.
Remember when you are profiling yourself on a personal dating website, online dating site or engaging yourself on the online dating community, profiling yourself is one of the most important key elements to successful find a match. Having a picture of yourself greatly increases the number of responses to your profile and as a result will increase the likelihood of you finding a successful partner.

A land of vast distances and rich natural resources, Canada turned a self-governing dominion in 1867 while holding ties to the British crown. Economically & technologically, the country has developed in parallel with the USA, its neighbor to the south - sharing the world's longest undefended border.
La Canada is the world's second-biggest country by area, occupying most of northern North America. Canada stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean & northward to the Arctic Ocean and shares land borders with the United States to the south & to the northwest - the 49th Parallel and Alaska.
Inhabited first by Aboriginal peoples, Canada was founded as a union of the First Nations, British settlements, and French settlements. Canada gained independence from the United Kingdom in a peaceful process that began in 1867 and ended in 1982 in the Pierre Trudeau years.
Canada is a federal constituent monarchy and parliamentary democracy, consisting of ten provinces & 3 territories, & defines itself as a bilingual and multicultural nation. Many forms of American media and entertainment are popular, if not dominant in Canada. Many Canadian cultural products and entertainers are successful in the US and worldwide.
The creation & preservation of distinctly Canadian culture has been partly determined by federal government programs, laws & institutions such as the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), the National Film Board of Canada (NFB), and the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission.
As Canada is a geographically vast & ethnically various country, there are cultural differences derived from territory to territory and region to area. Canadian civilization has also been greatly acted upon by more recent immigration of people from all over the world. Most Canadians value their multiculturalism. Most see Canadian civilization as being inherently multicultural. Multicultural inheritance is enshrined in Section 27 of the Canadian Charter of Rights & Freedoms.
National symbols reflect natural, historical, and First Nations origins. Especially the use of the Maple Leaf, as a Canadian symbol, which dates back to the early 18th century & is depicted on its current & previous flags, the penny, and on the coat of arms. Other prominent symbols are the beaver, Canada goose, common loon, the Crown, and the red coated Mounties: the world famous Royal Canadian Mounted Police..
Canada's official national sports are ice hockey (winter) & lacrosse (summer). Hockey is a national pastime, and is by far the most popular spectator sport in the country. It is also one of the most popular sports Canadians play, with 1.65 million active participants in 2004. Canada's six biggest metropolitan areas - Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Ottawa, Calgary, and Edmonton - have franchises in the National Hockey League (NHL), and there are additional Canadian players in the league - more than all the other nations represented (American and European players) put together.
Additional popular Canadian spectator sports are curling & Canadian football game (especially the Canadian Football League). Golf, baseball , skiing, soccer, volleyball, & basketball are widely played at youth and amateur levels - but professional organizations and leagues are not as widespread.
La Canada caught worlwide attention with the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup & the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and Whistler, British Columbia. When Sydney Crosby scored the winning goal for Team Canada to win the Gold for Hockey, it seemed that the world was watching. Certainly the world learned that, to Canadians, hockey isn't just a sport - it's a religion!
And the red mittens with the white maple leaf on the palm have become popular collectibles around the world!
==>> “There is gold in them thar hills”. I’m not certain where that phrase came from, it’s been a century since Western Canada’s last “great Gold Rush” brought hoards chasing the dream, but it strikes a chord in me every time I hear it. In the last decade another “rush” has surfaced in British Columbia – the rush to open up BC’s backcountry skiing, the rush for “white gold”. Not the kind you put on her finger, the kind that blankets the mountains out west; deep, dry powder snow. To read more about the White Gold Rush, go to http://www.catskiing.com/blog/white-gold-rush... Catskiing and Heliskiing in the BC Rockies are “top of the must do” list of every serious skier or boarder. Once you get a taste of the white gold there is no turning back, that powder is highly addictive and there’s no substitute. It’s now September and the rush has begun in Revelstoke. Another epic season will soon be upon us. Snow has been falling up high, winter is in the air and one thing is for certain; “there is cold in them thar hills”.
