Tenemos que ser capaces de aceptar plenamente la vida nueva a la cual nos vemos expuestos, y dejar para siempre el mundo de fantasía donde todas las cosas son color de rosa.

Tu vida es lo que tienes ahora frente a ti. Sin embargo, es importante que te des cuenta que tu vida no es tu pasado, ni tu futuro. El pasado puede no gustarte, puede no parecerte justo, pero esto NO está en tus manos cambiarlo. Si no eres capaz de reconocer esto, será imposible que puedas seguir adelante luego de una separación, una ruptura o un divorcio. en mi próximo articulo voy a analizar las diferentes fases por las que suelen pasar las personas en el momento de una ruptura, pero en éste quiero centrar mi atención sobre una de ellas: la fase de Duelo.
Es fundamental que comprendas que esta fase no se puede convertir en algo permanente para ti, que es necesario que puedas superar este mal trago que te toca vivir. De esta forma, y sólo de esta forma, serás capaz de decidir cómo deseas vivir tu futuro, y de darte cuenta que el ahora es lo único que tienes, lo único real. Es éste el único camino que te permitirá empezar a salir de la fase de duelo: dándote cuenta que tienes que avanzar.
A veces me sorprendo ante mujeres bastante entradas en años que se visten cual adolescentes tratando de disimular lo indisimulable: arrugas, la ley de gravedad (y otros ítems que las que formamos parte del género femenino conocemos bien). ¡Cuidado! No digo que hay que ser descuidadas (a los hombres les atraen mucho las mujeres maduras que tienen buen gusto para vestir) pero tampoco hay que convertirse en una negadora del tiempo que pasa. Hay que aprender a llevar esos cambios con altura, reconociendo que existen.
Esto no sólo demuestra una madurez mental e intelectual (algo que escasea en nuestros tiempos) sino que permite adaptarse a la situación real. Lo mismo sucede luego de una ruptura, donde, si la persona no logra superar la fase de duelo, y se pone a negar su realidad, tal como la mujer que niega sus años, entonces no solamente se verá patética, sino que nunca podrá seguir adelante, ni será feliz cuando se tenga que mirar al espejo.
Por el contrario, así como las que aprovechan el paso del tiempo para madurar, y tratan de vivir plenamente la etapa de la vida en que se encuentran, valiéndose de su experiencia, siendo más prudentes que antes, e incluso volviéndose más hermosas que cuando tenían sólo 20 primaveras, en el instante en que tú aceptes esta nueva realidad que te toca vivir luego de la separación, habrás tomado ventaja y estarás preparada para tomar lo que la vida te ofrece a partir de este momento puede que sea disfrutar de ti, nuevas oportunidades o posibilidades de amar, un nuevo camino espiritual, profundizar en cosas que quizás habías pospuesto por estar con el otro, etc.
Lo más importante es que seas capas de reconocer que ésta es tu única y presente realidad. Lo pasado se ha ido, sólo existe en tu mente como un recuerdo. El futuro es incierto, sólo existe en tu mente como un pensamiento.
Por lo tanto, no serás justa contigo (y el caso que tengas hijos tampoco lo será con ellos) si vas a renunciar al placer de vivir la vida en total plenitud, quedando atrapada en forma permanente en un duelo eterno.
Es fundamental que creas que A PARTIR DE AHORA te espera una vida de éxito, de felicidad y de nuevos amores (y no me estoy refiriendo aquí a una pareja, sino a descubrir TODO el amor que te rodea y que aún no habías sido capaz de ver).

When A local banker stole 2.5 billion dollars from a local bank the government stood behind the bank and paid back the money, but in pesos. You wouldn't get your money back if a U.S or Western Country banker stole that much money.
But let's look at the over all picture. Would I recommend the Dominican Republic for retirement or a vacation? You bet your life I would. I love it!
