What do men really want in an attactive woman? Take a look at the hottest fashion magazines, girl, and you'll see that long hair is a popular trend at the moment. But is a woman ever too old for long locks?
"I believe a woman should feel confident, sexy and attractive and if that means having long hair, then the answer is simply no," stated L'Oreal stylist Candice Faranda from Hairloom Unisex Hair Design.
"Long hair does have to be in great condition, have an excellent colour and be cut into a flattering shape. No one past their teens can get away with hair hanging from a centre parting like a pair of curtains," Candice cautioned.
She said one of the most ageing hair mistakes is hair that looks like it can't move, which she calls "helmet hair".
"It's much more flattering when it can be free, with soft movement."
Yasmine Harland, creative director and owner of Cision Hair, said there is no age where a woman is too old for long hair.
"We just recommend it's kept soft around the face and the style suits the face shape."
Yasmine stated that women growing their hair longer should have it trimmed every five to eight weeks.
"It's important to keep on top of it so it doesn't split," she added.
For beautiful long hair, the experts recommend regular treatments every seven to ten days, with leave-in thermal protectors and heat and sun protective products.
Certainly, being an attractive woman is attainable. And many women don't realize how her hair can really attract men.
