So, don't expect to get rid of all approach anxiety. Instead, focus on controlling it, so that it does not hinder you in any way at all.
2. Don't assume the worst case scenario.
This is what most guys do when they think about walking over to that jaw dropping hottie. They immediately run through in their mind all of the reasons why they are not good enough. They assume that they are going to get rejected and they start to project an image of lacking any confidence whatsoever. When you do this, a woman can tell. And she is not going to find you appealing.
3. Build on your charm and charisma.
Now, some will say that you are either born charming and charismatic or not. But, that is not the case. Any man can build his charm and charisma to the point where he can approach a woman and confidently know that she is going to be attracted to him in some way. It may not happen overnight or in a week, but it can happen.

1. You are so beautiful.
This should be pretty obvious and a lot of men will say that they know not to do this, but what happens when you put them in front of a beautiful woman? They instantly tell her how beautiful she is, how pretty she is, how great she is, etc. While it would seem to be the right thing to do, just ask yourself, would you like to have a woman come up to you and just tell you the same compliments over and over again? Maybe at first you would, but after a while, it would get to seem a little old and meaningless.
2. Talk to her about your work.
Now, of course if you were a movie star or a famous musician, this would not apply. It would be a good thing to talk about, as ALL people are pretty impressed with that lifestyle. But, for an average guy, telling her about your 9 to 5 will get pretty dull quickly. If you want to engage her in a snooze fest, then by all means, talk about your job. If you want to make her feel attracted to you, then you need to make sure to avoid the work talk.
3. Discuss past relationships.
This is a definite no-no and if you do slip up and mention an old relationship, make sure to make it brief and move on to something else. When you start to talk about a previous relationship, you can be sure that she is going to start to look at you differently. And if you go too in depth, you might expose a part of your personality that will repel her right away.
