Why do black women like white men?
There are several assumptions people sometimes make about black women who like white men. They may include the following:
1. She is dating him for his money.
2. She is desperate and cannot find a black man to date her.
3. All the black men she has dated have treated her poorly so she’s written them off.
4. She hates her blackness and/or wants to have light skinned, curly haired kids.
These reasons may apply for some, but you must understand that under the coloring, they are WOMEN. Likewise, men are MEN regardless of race. Of course everyone has individual preferences, but black women like white men for the same reasons they may be attracted to a man of her own or any other race.
Although African American (AA) women tend to prefer dating within their own race, this cannot be assumed. If you are a white man who wants to get to know an AA woman who has caught your eye, go talk to her! White men should definitely approach AA women because more than likely she will NOT make the first move if she is interested. Of course, it is possible that she will reject you, but it’s possible that ANY woman you approach will not be receptive to your advances. Race has nothing to do with it.
When you approach an AA woman please do not:
1…… ask her if she is “into” white guys. This type of line reeks of insecurity and black women do not appreciate it.
2…… attempt to speak ghetto slang or mention the rap artists you supposedly love. Just because she is black does not mean that she does not speak intelligently. Don’t assume that she likes rap music when you know nothing about her. Be yourself.
3…… comment on her body. African American women have a concern about being fetishes for white men who may just be interested in her for the “black experience” Do not give her any reason to believe that this may be on your agenda.
Contrary to popular belief, African American women will date and marry white men. Judge AA women on an individual basis. When it comes to compatibility, race is secondary.
